On Friday, January 23, 2026 we will be having a Emergency Responder Chaplain Day at the Colorado Capital. We have been working with Representatives Dusty A. Johnson and Chad Clifton along with Senators Byron H Pelton and Dafna Michaelson Jenet to recognizing Emergency Responder Chaplains. We hope to have as many of the RMPFC Chaplains as possible show up to represent Chaplaincy and our agencies from across the region. Additionally, we will take a photo of everyone together on the steps of the capital and get a behind the scenes tour of the capital. 

Tentative Agenda:

• 8:15AM to 8:30AM - Arrive at Capitol and go through Security


• 8:30AM to 8:50AM - Meet at the bottom of the main staircase on 1st floor to talk with legislators 


• 9:00AM - Sit on House or Senate Floor to watch tributes


• 10:00AM to 10:45AM - Tour of Capitol


• 11:00AM to 11:30AM - Press Conference on West Steps


• 12:00PM to 1:00PM - Chaplain Lunch Together


• Suggestion, schedule a meeting with your respective Legislator later in the day to share about Emergency Responder Chaplaincy and the impact being made.
