Trauma Informed Practice and Awareness in Chaplaincy
Chaplains, as we take this course together, we will walk away with a deeper understanding of what our responders experience through traumatic events. This deeper understanding will allow us to better serve those who serve us and provide better resources and support. The course will provide practical tools to implement trauma-informed practices and raise our awareness.
Learning Outcomes:
Understand the different types of trauma that can affect individuals in the workplace.
Recognize common symptoms and signs of trauma in employees
Gain insights into the impact of trauma on an individual's sense of self-esteem and self-worth, and its potential influence on behavior and performance.
